Good News Club will be swinging into action tomorrow, September 1, bringing the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to children in our local public school system. Each week, for the next 7 weeks, a team from Weisbach Community Church will host an after school Good News Club from 3:20 until 5:00. Boys and girls grades K-6 are invited for dynamic Bible lessons, creative learning activities, inspiring missionary stories, meaningful songs and life-changing Scripture memory.

Can we really teach the Bible in public schools? Yes! In 2001 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Good News Clubs v. Milford Central School that Good News Clubs can meet in public schools in the United States after school hours on the same terms as other community groups.

Let’s make a special effort to remember this ministry effort in prayer over the next 7 weeks that God will use it to change the lives of these little ones.
